Spring time - The time when the world puts on her new clothes and shows off her splendid beauty!
It is as if our organizaton has experienced a 'rebirth' as our membership continues to grow, bringing members to us from all over the world! With our new web site, and new volunteer-helpers, we are moving forward at a steady pace, ready to be of good moral support to all those who suffer from ON/AVN, and sharing our combined experiences and acquired knowledge along the way.
What Members can see and do within our walls -
Interaction: the core of our organization –
In addition to our wonderful message board system, which is called Forums on our site, we now offer a wonderfully interactive feature called "Community." If you are familiar at all with the way social network sites such as Face Book work, then you will just love our new community feature! With our new features being so easy to understand and use, our members are happily busy 'talking' with each other, sharing many great photos, videos, and having real-time chats in our amazing chat room area! In fact, we celebrated our grand launch with an online 'party' on Monday evening and all those who attended had a ball chatting with one another! Our chat room now works flawlessly -- and best of all, we now also offer Instant Messaging, something we could never do before. Needless to say, members can pick and choose their preferences so that they can use our site as it most suits them. With the ability to change preferences with the click of a mouse, we are all finding it a pure pleasure to use these new features. (And, for the first time ever, we even offer games! Come play against an opponent, or play games for one. It's a great way to relax and take a break from the pain of AVN!)
Information Libraries –
We probably have the largest online info libraries in the world for people who suffer from AVN. With nearly 4 gigabytes of data, our libraries are constantly growing! We began gathering data as far back as 1999, when we were a part of the Yahoo Groups Community, and we’ve never stopped. Also, our huge Helpful Links library has had more than 280 new links added to it over this past year, connecting members to the latest news on the ‘Net for AVN and more. A virtual ton of information is neatly sorted and cataloged -- and literally at your fingertips, with a touch of your mouse!
We feature on our main page an item called "Helpful Links". This is a collection of 10 or so links that are viewable by all, including non-registered members. Click on Learn tab, above, to access Helpful Links. Think of it as a sample of what lies inside our site. If you are seeking information on AVN and many more similar or related topics, then you really should join our organization! We look forward to welcoming all those who either have AVN, or know or love someone who does. Just click on the Membership tab, center of main page, to find the link to the registration page.

They are finally in!
We now have our very own wrist-band bracelet that proudly tells the world who we are! The bracelet is in our own color, light blue, and has our ribbon on it as well as our name. Best of all, it is free to our registered members! If you are registered, please log in to our site to find out how to order one. See picture, below:

Please take a look at our left-hand main menu. This is only a partial listing of all that awaits you once you join our Association! The general public can view our partial listing, including this "Group News" article. However, our registered members can tell you that inside our site we offer much more.
If you are suffering from AVN, then you have come to the right place. The ability to interact with others who understand where you are coming from knows no equal. Being understood alone is such a comfort! Waiting for you inside these cyber-walls is a world of combined knowledge and moral support.
How to Sign Up -
Registering is an easy three-step process:
1. Fill out Registration form and submit (Registration link at very top of this page)
2. Wait for a confirmation email from us which verifies that you did apply for membership, then...
3. Log back in to choose your payment option to complete the registration process, and to activate your account.
Subscription fee is $20/year and will help us to continue to help all those who suffer with AVN. If you can't afford to pay, please write to us and we will work something out with you. We know and understand how a disease such as AVN can deplete a family's resources, and we are more than willing to work with you.
